Supported Parenting Program Supervisor

Full-time, benefitted position will participate in the development and implementation of parent education and support services by supervising staff and program activities. Will serve as the primary liaison with referral source and links the parent and/or family to the needed medical, education, social service resources by assisting the parent in identifying the appropriate person on the parent's team and participates with parent team member to develop case plans. Teaches, demonstrates and reinforces positive parenting skills and techniques, case management, home visiting and strength-based work in order to assist the parent to meet their child's needs. Provides for the training and development of staff to assist parents in daily living skills, social skills, grooming and personal hygiene skills in accordance with agency guidelines and will maintain current knowledge in the field of child development, family dynamics and adult learning styles for the purpose of achieving program goals. Provides and exercises appropriate supervision and direction for assigned staff and organizes the work of self and subordinates to set priorities and to ensure that all deadlines are met. Requires equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university with major course work in child development, social science, social work, education or a related field and two years of experience working with individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities, preferably with an emphasis in parent education, home visiting, or independent living skills. Must be able to pass DOJ/FBI level background and possess a valid CA driver's license and current proof of insurance. Child Care Case Manager

Full- time, benefitted position interviewing and explaining policy and program guidelines to clients and providers according to program guidelines and agency policy. Will maintain and re-certify a caseload of eligible families, provides timely and accurate records to ensure issue of Certificates for Payment or Authorized Child Care Schedules, will maintain and apply knowledge of the regional market rates and analyzes family income to ensure families subject to family fee are charged accurately. Will enter in client information in computer system and prepares and accurately maintains a variety of complex reports and records related to program requirements. Will assist families navigate the child care options, reviews child care payment vouchers to compare with authorized child care schedules, provides child care referrals and will implement Trustline process for CalWORKS participants. a typical was to obtain the knowledge and skills required would be two years of college-level course work in accounting or social services and two years of experience which has involved the application and explanation of rules and regulations to the public. Mental Health Support Specialist

Part-time variable schedule position provides support to children, youth and families in a variety of setting including home, school and community. Provides 1:1 behavior coaching in a home, school or community setting and provides referral and linkage to community resources, parent education and support as directed. Requires Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, child development or related field, 2 years of work experience with children, youth and families. Associate of Arts Degree in one of the above fields and 4 years of work experience will be considered. Child Care Specialist

Full-time, benefitted position that provides a range of child care related services to child care providers, parents and child care programs. Will maintain contemporary knowledge regarding Community Care regulations, local child care provider options, trends and subsidy programs as well as program guidelines for the Child and Adult Care Food Program and Alternative Payment programs. Will assist members of the public to select the child care which will enhance the child's development and meet the family's needs by interviewing parents or providers and explaining the complex services, policies and requirements, provide child care referrals or other social services as appropriate and assist families to access subsidized child care services. May make site visits to child care providers for the purpose of providing on-site technical assistance of performing of assessments of the environment of children in care. Successful completion of college level English classes, 2 years' experience directly interacting with general public and knowledge of child care services delivery modes. Early Childhood Education units and child development courses preferred. Other requirements include: Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends and early mornings. Skills Specialist

This intermittent position provides behavioral and support services to children and adults who have developmental disabilities; uses intervention strategies that reflect evidence based practices to increase developmentally appropriate skills as overseen by a behavioral consultant; as assigned, performs personal attendant duties; performs related work as assigned.  Work is generally performed within the focus individual’s residence or (as approved) in community settings.  Starts at $14.25/hour plus mileage reimbursement.
