Special Needs Services

Since 1978, Changing Tides Family Services has offered programs for individuals with special needs. These services include:

  • In home respite care
  • Support services to individuals who have developmental disabilities and who also have significant behavior challenges
  • Family support to parents who have just learned that their child has a developmental disability or who may be at risk of having one
  • Assistance in locating and paying for child care
  • Training opportunities for child care providers to enhance their skills caring for children who have special needs
