Family Empowerment Services
Changing Tides Family Services provides strength based, community based services to support children, youth, and their families to lead happy, healthy lives. Positive mental health is essential to achieve success in school, community activities, employment, and personal growth.
Changing Tides Family Services offers community based mental health services to children and youth up to age 21. Services include:
- individual counseling
- group therapy
- family therapy
- case management services
- linkage to community resources
- services to reduce behaviors that are interfering with success in school or child care
- life skills development
- social skills development
- coaching parents to be the best they can be
- Parent Child Interaction Therapy (a specialized service offered by Changing Tides Family Services staff certified by the University of California, Davis)
